I am not really political at all, but I have been doing some homework to educate myself on the upcoming election.
I can vouch for Jay's laid back approach from when he knocked on my door.
He was in shorts and a tshirt wearing a ball cap backwards. My immediate impression was here's a guy keeping it real.
He was well spoken and professional but also open to my quirky sarcastic humor which he won brownie points for.
My 88 year old Mom and 34 year old son came to see who I was laughing with at the door.
He got to share with 3 generations of Brooklinites on one door knock.
We all walked away impressed and looking forward to supporting him in the upcoming election.
I encourage you to have a conversation with him.
I emailed some questions to him afterwards and he responded within an hour with his detailed take on my questions. I was very impressed.
It wasn't a canned response on what he thought I wanted to hear. He answered and explained his stand and I appreciated the no BS political response that I sometimes expect.
He definietly has my vote. I hope he has yours too.
